THE CONTEXT

Restaurants reprint menus every time a price changes. QRbook replaces paper with a QR code that always points at the current menu — editable in seconds, with analytics on what customers view.

WHAT I DID

    Built end to end

    Auth, subscription tiers, menu editor, public pages — every layer designed and shipped solo.

  2. 02

    Real-time menu updates

    Edits go live instantly on the customer-facing QR pages.

  3. 03

    Subscription billing on Paddle

    Checkout plus webhooks that keep subscription state in sync with the database across renewals, upgrades and cancellations.

  4. 04

    Menu media on AWS S3

    Dish and header photography uploaded straight to S3 and served from there — menus stay image-heavy without the app carrying the files.

    View analytics

    Owners see what customers actually look at.

    SEO pages

    Public, shareable, indexable menu pages built on Next.js.

OUTCOME

A running SaaS with paying subscription tiers, and a second product line (QR memorials) shipped on the same foundation.
